How much does a replacement car key cost?

I lost ALL my keys. Can you still make one?
Yes. We can cut and program a brand-new key from scratch, even with no working key — no need to tow your car to a dealer.
Do you come to me?
Yes — we're a mobile service covering London and Southwestern Ontario. We come to your driveway, workplace, or parking lot. You can also visit our shop at 737 Hamilton Rd Unit 2, London.
Do you do push-to-start / keyless-go fobs?
Yes. We replace and program push-to-start fobs, smart keys, and remotes for most makes and models.
Do you install or repair remote starters?
No. Remote starters are aftermarket add-ons, and we don't install or repair them. What we do is the key side: fobs, remotes, and smart keys — replaced, programmed, and tested at your car.
How long does key programming take?
Most keys are cut and programmed on the spot, in a single visit. Tell us your year, make, and model and we'll confirm timing for your car.
My key doesn't turn in the ignition — can you fix that instead of replacing my keys?
Often, yes. A key that won't turn, sticks, or only works when you jiggle it is usually a worn ignition cylinder, not the key. We repair worn or jammed ignitions and lock cylinders so you keep using your original key — no rekeying, and no dealer visit. Most of the cylinder failures we see are on Volkswagen, Honda, and Chevrolet, but any make can wear out. My BMW/MINI lights or windows stopped working — can you help?
That's usually a faulty footwell module (FRM). We repair FRMs for all BMW and MINI Cooper models, and module repairs carry a 6-month warranty.
My Mercedes won't start or the steering lock is stuck — can you fix it?
Usually that's the electronic ignition switch (EIS/EZS) or the electronic steering lock (ESL/ELV). We're specialists in both: we diagnose, repair, and program ignition and steering lock modules for many Mercedes-Benz models.
Do your keys and repairs come with a warranty?
Yes. Keys carry a 3-month warranty, and module repairs — BMW/MINI FRM, Mercedes EIS/EZS and ESL/ELV — carry a 6-month warranty.
Are you licensed and registered to program keys?
Yes.
